Introduction to Wesley Fellowship Group
Welcome to the Wesley Fellowship Group!
Today in the 21st Century the early Methodist Class meetings have become the Wesley Fellowship Groups. So, what is a Wesley Fellowship Group or WFG? These groups meet weekly using the Zoom format. The consist of no more than twelve people and will last only for one hour. The main focus of the WGF is to answer and discuss one question, “How is it with your soul?” or in modern day language, “How has your life been with God this week?”
The benefit to meeting on line is that we are following the guidelines set out by the Arkansas Conference and that it allows for groups to meet with limited limitations. You do not have to deal with travel time, the host does not have to clean their house for others to meet, there is not a need for child care, you will never have to miss a WGF for being out of town as long as you have a computer, smart phone and the internet. Also, when it comes time for everyone to leave and go home you just hit the end button.
I believe that today’s Methodist can help people experience the power of God in their lives through the WGF.
I invite you to prayerfully consider committing to attend a Wesley Fellowship Group for six weeks where you will experience God’s Holy Spirit through prayer and fellowship.
