The Ralph Bunche Community Back to School Picnic will be held on Saturday, August 5th from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Ralph Bunche Park in Benton. As in years past, our church is supporting the event in a variety of ways. One thing that we are adding back this year will be our FUMC Footprints - Back to School Shoe Distribution, which will be held at FUMC in the CLC and Fellowship Hall on Saturday, August 5th from 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM.
During the event, we will be distributing new 'Back to School' shoes to 400 students from local school districts. This is a wonderful event, and an opportunity for our church members to make a real difference in our community. We need at least 100 volunteers for the day of the event.
