Wednesday Nights at Benton FUMC

Part of our tradition on Wednesday Nights during the school year is to have a fellowship meal together as well as multiple Bible studies, adult, children, and youth activities, and choir practice. There is something for everyone! Programming for all of our ministries, the weekly schedule, the spring calendar, and our menus can be found below!

Wednesdays Nightly Schedule:

Programming for People of All Ages

Adults

Bible Study with Brother Keith

WHO: Adults of any age
WHERE: The Chapel (1st Floor)
WHAT: Come join Brother Keith at 6 PM in the Covenant Class on the First Floor as he works through a book of the Bible. Come read and discuss scripture and fellowship with one another.

Children's (2 years - 4th Grade)

Pre-K Children

WHO: Children 2 years old up to entering Kindergarten
WHERE: The Children’s Chapel (1st Floor)
WHAT: Pre-K children will learn about God and His love with hands-on activities and other age appropriate activities and bible stories.

Elementary Children

WHO: Children Kindergarten through 4th grade
WHERE: The Village of Faith (2nd Floor)
WHAT: Children will study different stories of the bible through games, art, and other fun activities.

Youth (5th-12th grades)

The Bridge

WHO: Youth in Grades 5th-6th
WHERE: The Bridge Room in the Youth Wing (2nd Floor, big room behind elevator)
WHAT: The Bridge Youth Ministry challenges our 5th and 6th graders to develop a personal relationship with Jesus and relationships with one another through meaningful interactions and relating faith questions with real life experiences.

Made to Worship Discipleship Groups

WHO: Youth in Grades 8th-12th
WHERE: 8th and 9th in the Junior High Room, 10th-12th in Large Youth Room in Youth Wing (2nd Floor)
WHAT: Discipleship Groups are small group oriented opportunities for you to grow deeper in your faith, focusing on what it means to live a Jesus Centered life, and what it looks like to live out your faith as a committed Christian. Come recharge with your friends and talk about life! This spring, Discipleship Groups will be learning more about what makes us United Methodists.

Confirmation

WHO: Youth in 7th grade and above
WHERE: The Cross Room in the Youth Wing
WHAT: Youth in 7th grade and above will develop an understanding of the Christian faith and who we are as United Methodists. Through partnering with prayer partners, discussion groups, mission projects, and hands-on experiences, our Confirmands will have many opportunities to see faith lived out in others and to put their faith into action. This semester will focus on hands-on experiences.

Handbells

WHO: Adults of Any Age
WHERE: Handbell Room (2nd Floor) at 5:30 PM
WHAT: A time designed for our handbell ensemble to prepare in leading in worship in the Sanctuary Services.
